ODC (Oversea Development Center) / OQC (Oversea Quality Center)

Offshore + Onshore

While most of the testing tasks can be outsourced to our OTC in China, the nature of some projects involves intense collaboration or interaction on a continual basis or there is a customer specific requirement. In such case, an on-site presence is maintained.

The on-site manager works from the customer site and coordinates project related aspects with the Offshore Development Center (ODC) and the customer. This on-site presence may involve a single resource or an entire project services team, depending on the nature, size, and complexity of the testing initiative.

The important features of this approach are:

• The approach requires an on-site coordinator or an on-site project manager.
• The on-site component may include one or more resources depending upon the size and complexity of the project.
• A considerable amount of work effort can be transferred to the offshore facility. That transition can result in a significant cost benefit to the customer.

We can also dispatch an on-site testing team with project managers, test leaders and testing engineers to function as the test arm of your development team.
