Cheng-yaw Sun, Executive Chairman
Mr. Cheng Yaw Sun was appointed as Board Chairman of hiSoft Technology International effective March 2008 and assumed the Executive Chairman position in August 2009. He brings with him over 25 years of global market experience in industry leading IT companies.
Prior to joining hiSoft, Cheng-Yaw was CEO of HP Greater China, and has also served as an Advisor to numerous technology companies. Before that, he was Managing Director of Hewlett-Packard China/Hong Kong and Vice President of Hewlett-Packard from 2002 to 2007. Prior to the merger of Hewlett-Packard and Compaq, Mr. Sun served as Managing Director of Hewlett-Packard China from 2000 to 2001. From 1991 to 1999, he worked as a general manager of the Computer Systems Group in Hewlett-Packard China. Mr. Sun joined Hewlett-Packard Taiwan in 1982 as a system engineer where he held various sales management positions from 1983 to 1990.
Mr. Sun has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Chung Yuan Christian University of Taiwan.
Tiak Koon Loh, Chief Executive Officer
Tiak has more than 20 years of experience leading high-growth IT companies in the global market. Tiak's expertise driving sophisticated full-portfolio services offerings brings a critical focus on customer business needs to hiSoft's rapidly expanding technology outsourcing capabilities.
Before joining hiSoft, Tiak was Corporate Vice President for Hewlett-Packard, responsible for expanding the China and Hong Kong services business, including technical services, integration, outsourcing and consulting. A fine-tuned ability to leverage the unique differentiators of a company to steer new growth models has resulted in Tiak's leadership bringing significantly improved shareholder value to the organizations he has led. Among his significant previous positions, Tiak served as Managing Director for Internet Capital Groups and Chief Executive Officer for Vanda and Cap Gemini Asia-Pacific.

Tiak started his career at IBM, and then Lotus Professional Services, serving in various senior business management and revenue generation positions in the Asia Pacific region. A highly respected visionary both within his own companies and the industry at large, Tiak has served as a Board member of many high-growth companies in addition to his own leadership roles.
Tiak graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Yong-Ji Sun, Executive Vice President
Yong-Ji is an IT veteran with more than 15 years of international experience.Yonj-Ji has held various senior management positions within Fortune 500 companies such as ASCII in Japan, NEC in Singapore, and Sun Microsystems and Lotus in the US. Yong-Ji's entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Lotus China in 1993 and being named head of the R&D center of Lotus China from 1994 to 1998. He was also the founder of Newland Network Co. and served as Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2003.
From 2003 to 2006, Yong-Ji served as CEO and founder of Ensemble International, until its merger with hiSoft Technology International.
Yong-Ji received his Master's degree in Computer Science from Nanjing Aerospace & Aeronautic University and an MBA from Babson College in Massachusetts.
Jin-Song Li, Executive Vice President
With more than 15 years of extensive experience in the IT industry, Jin-Song joined hiSoft in 1997 to manage Japanese operations. In 1998, Jin-Song set up JBDK, a joint venture between hiSoft and JBCC in Japan and in 2002, he established hiSoft's Tokyo subsidiary, Haihui Sci-Tech Japan Co., Ltd.
Previous to this, Jin-Song spent five years with Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Jin-Song holds a computer science degree from Dalian Maritime University.
Christine Lu-Wong, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President
Christine has 16 years of finance and management experience with multinational corporations, public accounting firms and US-listed Chinese enterprises. She held various positions in major global companies such as HP, Sun Microsystems and PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as founded her own consulting company to serve companies in the Bay Area.
Her wealth of experience is valuable and relevant to hiSoft in its current high growth stage. As the Company grows bigger and more sophisticated, Christine will further enhance the finance operations to global standards. In her capacity as CFO, Christine oversees the finance and legal functions. She is being looked upon for her advice and guidance in strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining hiSoft, Christine served as Vice President of Finance in Wuxi PharmaTech, a NYSE-listed company in the research outsourcing industry. She was responsible for the company’s financial management and external reporting.
Christine received her M.B.A. in Accounting from Golden Gate University, California and is a California licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Jiu-Chang Wang, Senior Vice President of hiSoft
As Senior Vice President, Mr. Wang spearheads strategic alliances at hiSoft and serves as General Manager of hiSoft Technology (Dalian) Ltd, responsible for local government relations and day-to-day operations of hiSoft Dalian.
Mr. Wang graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Shipping Engineering from Dalian Maritime University. He became Deputy Vice Chancellor of the university, and completed a Master's Degree in International Economic Law. After his 21-year tenure at the university, he moved on to become Deputy Bureau Chief at Dalian Ship Inspection Bureau before joining hiSoft in 2001.
Sarah Bajc, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Alliances
For over 20 years, Sarah has been driving revenue generation and operational excellence in the professional services and technology industries. As Senior Vice President of Marketing and Alliances for hiSoft Technology International, she is focused on significantly accelerating growth through marketing, sales process and alliances.
Before joining hiSoft, she was the Business Director for the Strategic Partnership Group of Microsoft in Beijing. There she worked with emerging and high growth Chinese companies towards the development of a robust technology ecosystem in China.
Prior to that, Sarah ran the North American operations of Tescom, where she helped to take the firm public in London, and drove the evaluation of outsourcing options in China. Before that, she founded four companies. Sarah began her career in Management Consulting with Deloitte & Touche and Cap Gemini.
Xu Ke, Vice President, Chief Information Officer
For over 12 years, Xu Ke has been working in IT outsourcing and professional services industry in China. He brings with him wealth of experience in IT strategy setup and IT service management.
Before joining hiSoft, Xu Ke managed the IT Outsourcing Service Delivery for China Hewlett-Packard. He led the team to provide high quality IT operation services to over 70 enterprise customers in China and achieved double digits growth of IT Outsourcing business for years. He founded China HP’s first multi-lingual regional IT Service Desk Center in 2003. In the past 2 years, he led China IT Outsourcing Service team achieved profitable growth by focus on the IT solution in retail and manufacture industry.
During his 11-year tenure with HP, Xu Ke held various management positions in IT service domain, from IT User Support Center Manager, to IT Senior Manager and as the Service Escalation Manager of China HP Global Delivery Center. He is also a certified ITIL instructor in HP IT Service Management School.
Xu Ke graduated with a MBA from Beijing CIBT School of Business and a bachelor degree major in Applied Physics from Beijing Polytechnic University.
Jin Wang, Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Jin Wang is a seasoned HR professional with more than 10 years of management experience in the high-tech industry, serving hardware, software, chip making and telecommunications companies.
Jin expanded her expertise while serving in lead roles including HR Manager for Microsoft China, the fastest growing subsidiary both in headcount and revenue (during her tenure). Jin was a key driver of Microsoft's expansion into China. She subsequently took the position of HR Director for Intel China, where her responsibilities covered Mainland China as well as Hong Kong.
Prior to that, Jin has also worked for China HP, holding various positions for more than eight years.
Jun Su, Senior Vice President, Head of US Business Unit
As Senior Vice President for hiSoft Technology International, Jun leads the US business unit and is responsible for the overall business results, including sales, marketing and delivery.
For over 15 years, Jun has served in a wide range of roles in the technology field: from hardware and software research and development to application outsourcing; from profit and loss management to sales leadership of Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining hiSoft, Jun spent more than 13 years in Hewlett Packard. His latest role was the Senior Director of Sales with responsibility of HP software service sales management in Asia-Pacific & Japan from 2007 to 2009. During this time, he built up the sales team from 8 members to over 100 and grew revenue from USD 68 million to 160 million. Before that, Jun served as the BU Director in the global delivery china center of HP for 4 years, having started as one of the founders. He built up multiple offshore delivery centers from ground up to over 600 members, with clients across the US and Europe. His technical expertise focuses mainly in IT service, business intelligence, business technology optimization, software R&D, product localization and professional services.
Jun lived and worked in the US for 10 years before starting up the HP global delivery center in shanghai, China. He gained in-depth knowledge in hardware and software research and development from his US experience.
Kevin BAI YU, Senior Vice President, Head of China Business Unit
Kevin joined hiSoft in 2007 as Senior Vice President of Sales. He is responsible for the hiSoft China Business Unit, and leads the whole hiSoft China team, including sales, business development, delivery and technology teams. He is responsible to drive high and profitable growth in China.
Kevin is a Senior Sales Executive with more than 16 years of proven experience and achievement in the IT industry. Before joining hiSoft, Kevin was General Manger of HP China Service Sales. During his 11 year tenure with HP, Kevin demonstrated strong leadership, he mentored and developed an effective sales team, and established a solid track record of business development for HP in China.
Prior to that, Kevin serves Philips Electronic as Senior Manager. Kevin has an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School.
Yasuhiko Kobayakawa, Senior Vice President, Managing Director of Japan
Yasuhiko is an IT expert with more than 15 years of management in the information technology and financial consulting industries. He has extensive IT and business process consulting expertise and experience across a variety of industries, particularly the financial industry.
Previously, Yasuhiko served as Japan Unisys' lead partner for the business consulting division, where his responsibilities covered consulting services across all industries. Prior to joining Japan Unisys, Yasuhiko spent 13 years working with Accenture in their finance services division. His successful client approach not only provided the solution to the clients' problems, but also proactively helped them move forward as a result of his guidance in financial services consulting and technology.
Yasuhiko holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Kyoto University.
LIU CHU TZER, Senior Vice President, Managing Director of Singapore
Chu Tzer has 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, most of which have been in a management capacity spanning field engineering, professional services, business process re-engineering and sales. As Senior Vice President of hiSoft Technology International, he is responsible for revenue growth in the Application Testing Services domain as well as leadership of Singapore operations.
Prior to joining hiSoft, Chu Tzer founded AllianceSPEC Pte Ltd in 2000 as a very specialized IT professional services organization in Singapore, focusing in the application software testing business. Through his leadership, the company has established itself as a respected independent application testing and software quality assurance services provider with a customer base of blue chip companies, especially in the banking and financial services industry. His emphasis on staying focused and specializing in software testing has enabled the company to evolve and build up in-depth domain expertise and proven methodologies in both delivery and training in their target market segments.
Chu Tzer started his career with IBM Singapore in the 80s. While there, he held management responsibilities across a number of different business functions that are both revenue driven as well as operationally critical.
Faye Tan, Senior Vice President, Strategic Clients
Faye has more than 15 years of experience in the information technology industry, including a number of roles managing both sales and delivery teams. Before joining hiSoft in 2007, she spent seven years with IBM. There, Faye managed the financial services practice for the region and also accumulated extensive regional experience, having been based in a number of countries for extended periods managing local delivery teams in Thailand, Singapore, Greater China and Malaysia. She also possesses extensive experience in project management in application and systems integration projects, and began her career designing and implementing network solutions for large organizations.
Faye holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Ivan Ng, Senior Vice President, Strategic Accounts
For over 15 years, Ivan has been driving business growth and consulting for Fortune 500 companies, helping them align technology strategies for business growth. As Senior Vice President for Strategic Accounts, he is responsible for growing the relationships with the company’s largest global customers.
Ivan last served in Dell as Business Director of Microsoft Solutions, where he was responsible for the strategy and growth of the Microsoft solution business in Asia Pacific and Japan. Prior to that, Ivan led the Infrastructure Services business as Director for Avanade, an Accenture/Microsoft joint venture in Asia. There he established market capabilities in Singapore, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia. Before that, he was co-founder of an Internet Services Company, focusing on relationship management. He began his career as a consultant within IBM.
Ivan is effectively multi-lingual and has deep international experience. He is an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) with certifications in ITIL, Microsoft and IBM technologies
Gene Tsai, Senior Vice President, Consulting Services
Gene has more than 15 years of extensive IT industry experience. Prior to his current role with hiSoft, Gene served as Chief Executive Officer of Envisage Solutions, a company he co-founded in 2000. Gene led Envisage to dramatic growth by delivering great results for numerous Fortune 1000 clients. Gene's other significant previous positions include Managing Director of TEQ International's European CRM operations and leading the Products and Financial Services practice at Accenture.
Gene graduated from the University of California at Irvine with degrees in Economics and Business Management.
David Liu, Senior Vice President, Business Development
David brings over 17 years of IT industry management experience to his role driving Business Development at hiSoft. He joined the company in 2000 and developed its process improvement strategy. As a result, hiSoft became the first Chinese company passing the CMM Level-5 assessment. He also led hiSoft to become GE’s first certified Global Development Center in China. In 2003, he established hiSoft’s US and European Business Group and its first fully-owned subsidiary in the United States. Before joining hiSoft, he served in various management positions with IT companies in the U.S. and China, and founded his own company in IT system integration in Seattle.
David has a MBA degree from Seattle University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
