Driving Technology Leadership in China’s Second Tier Cities - hiSoft Opens State-of-the-Art Wuxi Development Center

August 6, 2009, Wuxi China - hiSoft Technology International just launched its newest delivery center. The Wuxi High-tech Zone facility was officially opened and put to operation today, providing a cost-efficient IT outsourcing option to better serve global clients currently located in Eastern China. In attendance for the signing ceremony was Mr. Yang Wei-ze, the Party Secretary of CPC Wuxi Committee and member of the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Cheng-yaw Sun, Chairman of hiSoft, and number of hiSoft's global 500 client representatives.

hiSoft has established a number of client dedicated quality assurance and software development centers at their brand new building to provide customized offshore services for their world-class clients. In less than a half year, the number of employees in hiSoft Wuxi grew to more than 600 people and it is expected to reach 5,000 within the next three years . Wuxi's new center strongly supports hiSoft's overall growth and diversification initiatives. The second tier city location will bring significant value to clients who want IT delivery in close proximity to their business operations in Shanghai, but at a lower total cost of operation than is possible in the larger city.

hiSoft has developed a close partnership with its long-term global clients through strong technical talent support and exclusive people recruiting and training programs developed in the past a few years. This has allowed hiSoft to build a core competence around development and testing, localization & globalization, and ODC maintenance that has earned many credits especially in the software product, finance, manufacturing, and mobile industries.
